Emi Buendia stance as Arsenal fans react to Dominik Szoboszlai transfer hint

Good morning Arsenal fans. Here is your morning digest for Saturday, December 5.

Farke coy on Buendia rumours

Norwich City manager Daniel Farke has refused to comment on recent links suggesting Arsenal are interested in signing Emi Buendia in January.

The Gunners have been linked with a move for the Canaries' playmaker in the upcoming January transfer window, but the Championship side's boss will not be drawn on the speculation.

According to Connor Southwell, who covers Norwich, Farke would not comment on the rumours linking Buendia with a move back to the Premier League.

The 23-year-old Argentine has featured 11 times for the Canaries in the Championship this season - and has racked up three goals and five assists in that time.

Who could feature against Spurs?

Gunners fans react to Szoboszlai transfer hint

Arsenal have been consistently linked with a move for Red Bull Salzburg star Dominik Szoboszlai in recent weeks, and the club's supporters believe they have found a hint from the Hungary international.

Following the Gunners' Europa League victory on Thursday night, Szoboszlai liked a photo from the @433 account, which had a graphic of the scoreline, along with the goalscorers.

It was spotted by @JoshArsenalFC on Twitter and plenty of fans were excited by the playmaker's social media activity.

Gilberto on undroppable player ahead of Spurs

Former Arsenal midfielder Gilberto Silva has urged his old club to build their midfield around Mohamed Elneny.

Elneny has been in-and-out of the Gunners side recently, but Gilberto has been very impressed with what he has seen from the Egypt international since he returned from the loan spell at Besiktas last season.

The Brazilian told Ladbrokes: "Granit Xhaka has been the regular player in that position in the last couple of years. But Partey played alongside Mohamed Elneny in Arsenal's game against Manchester United a few weeks ago and I thought they worked really well as a partnership, despite the fact that they're not the kind of players who get that much credit for the jobs they do - Elneny especially.

"But I think he can be a key player for Arsenal this year. He's not an inconsistent player, he always performs well and in that role you need someone who is going to consistently do a job for the team."
