Emergency works on Drumcondra Road water main will disrupt traffic until Monday mid-morning

Dublin City Council has advised that traffic on a main route into Dublin will be disrupted as emergency repair work is being carried out on the high-pressure water main at the junction of Drumcondra Road and Clonliffe Road.

Engineers are working on the water mains and are expected to complete the repairs by mid-morning on Monday (October 18).

The council's Traffic Management Centre has warned that lane closures and a stop/go system will be in place for most of the morning.

Motorists and bus passengers are being warned to expect disruption and if necessary to seek alternative routes to onward destinations
