Emergency work being carried out on Trent Bridge to fix collapsed gully in carriageway

Emergency work is being carried out at Trent Bridge on Monday, October 12, to fix a collapsed gully.

Nottingham City Council's Highways teams confirmed there had been an emergency outbound lane closure on Trent Bridge.

A spokesperson outlined the cause of the closure as "Urgent replacement of collapsed gully in carriageway"

The lane is expected to reopen by 3pm today.

The spokesman for Highways said minor delays are expected.
