Emergency services rushed to an estate in Hamilton yesterday after a car crashed into the side of a block of flats.
The incident took place around 3.45pm on Wednesday, August 22.
One resident who heard the commotion said: “I looked out and saw police, fire and an ambulance, there was a lot of commotion.
“I really hope they are ok, it was so close to where the children get off the high school bus too.”
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “At 3.45pm on Wednesday afternoon (August 21) police were called to reports of a car colliding into a building on Redwood Drive, Hamilton.
“Emergency services attended and a 71-year-old woman was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
“The woman was kept in overnight for observations and released on Thursday.”
