Emergency services have raced to the scene of a two vehicle crash on the A9 this afternoon.
The collision occurred at around 2:05pm on the southbound streth near Aberuthven in Perth and Kinross.
It is not known if there are any injuries at this stage.
Police remain at the scene and drivers are being advised to expect delays.
A spokesman for Police Scotland said: "Officers were called to reports of a two vehicle crash on the A9 near Aberuthven around 2.05pm on Friday 5 March 2021.
"Officers are currently at the scene."
At 2.27pm, Traffic Scotland tweeted warning that the road was blocked.
The service wrote: "A9 River Earn - Aberuthven - Accident.
"All lanes restricted southbound.
