Emergency services are rushing to the scene of a vehicle fire on the M9 motorway in Co Kilkenny.
The incident happened this morning on the motorway between Junction 8 at Kilkenny and Junction 7 at Paulstown.
Motorists in the area have been warned to use caution while driving due to the possibility of smoke billowing from the vehicle.

An AA Roadwatch spokesman said: "Emergency services are en route to a vehicle fire on the M9 northbound between J8 Kilkenny and J7 Paulstown.
"Drive with caution along this route as smoke may affect visibility."
