Man rushed to hospital after industrial accident at Perth Supermarket

Police, fire and ambulance services rushed to a supermarket in Perth today following an industrial accident.

An air ambulance is understood to have been called in following the incident at the Co-op store on Main Street, Perth.

A man has been taken to hospital. No details have been released on how seriously injured he is.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: A spokesperson said: "Officers are currently in attendance on Main Street, Perth, following a report of an industrial accident within a premises.

"A man has been taken to hospital and emergency services remain at the scene.                                                                                                                    

"Inquiries are ongoing and the Health and Safety Executive have been informed."
