Emergency services have rushed to the scene of a "serious" crash in Limerick.
The M7 eastbound is closed for a short stretch as ambulance services deal with the crash, which took place near Castletroy last night.
Traffic is being diverted off the motorway after the crash, with motorists urged to take care on approach.
Those on the affected road will be redirected onto the off-ramp at J28 on the M7, before rejoining via the on-ramp at the same junction.
The crash is still being dealt with this morning.
The crash comes as warnings are issued to motorists ahead this weekend, with conditions likely to plummet and snow possible in some areas.
