A man has been rushed to hospital after being assaulted in Clydebank.
Emergency services were called to the scene on Kirkwood Avenue at around 6.30pm on Thursday, February 25.
At least two marked police vans were seen parked in the street while CID officers carried out enquiries in the area.
The man is being treated at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow but the extent of his injuries are not currently known.
Police Scotland confirmed they were called to the Linnvale area of the town on Thursday night.
A force spokeswoman said: "Around 6.30 pm on Thursday, 25 February, 2021, police were called after a man was assaulted in Kirkwood Avenue, Clydebank.
“He has been taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow. “No details on injury at this time."
