Fire and ambulance crews rushed to the scene of an industrial fire.
The fire, which is believed to have started around 4am on Sunday, broke out at an industrial unit on Lea Green Road in Sutton Manor, St Helens.
Four fire engines were called out to deal with the blaze, which had already been tackled by an on site team before they arrived.

Firefighters entered the building in breathing apparatus to confirm the fire had been put out and remained at the scene carrying out ventilation, but were expected to leave this morning.
An ambulance was in attendance at the scene, but all people were accounted for.
A spokesperson for Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service said: "Firefighters are currently in attendance at a fire at an industrial unit on Lea Green Road, Sutton Manor, St Helens.
"Crews were called shortly before 4am. Four fire engines are currently in attendance.
"The fire had been extinguished by the on site fire team prior to our arrival. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus have entered the building to ensure the fire is completely extinguished and under control.
"All persons are accounted for.
"North West Ambulance Service is also in attendance.
"The incident is ongoing. Please avoid the area."
In a later update, the spokesperson said: "Ventilation of the first floor of the building has been carried out.
"Firefighters are now making up equipment and are expected to leave the scene shortly."
