Emergency services rush to scene after pedestrian struck by motorbike in Clydebank crash

A pedestrian has been struck by a motorbike in a serious crash in Clydebank this afternoon.

The incident occurred on Mountblow Road at 4.05pm today.

Emergency services are in attendance at the scene, including police and paramedics.

The extent of the injuries of those involved in the crash is unknown.

Mountblow Road has been closed off in all directions by police following the crash, with drivers facing delays in the area. It is not currently clear when the road will be reopened.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman confirmed police were in attendance at the scene.

She said: "We were called at 4.05pm to reports of a serious crash involving a motorbike and and pedestrian in Mountblow Road, Clydebank on Tuesday, 28 January.

"The road is currently closed for crash investigations to take place. The ambulance service is in attendance."
