A massive emergency response has been sparked amid an "ongoing incident" on the River Forth.
The alarm was raised at around 2.30pm today, Tuesday April 12, with scores of mercy crews currently in attendance.
A coastguard helicopter has also been spotted scouring the water between Grangemouth and Kincardine.
The nature of the incident is currently unknown, but an eyewitness told Falkirk Live that rescue boats are also in the water.
Taking to Twitter, Traffic Scotland said: "Following earlier reports the A985 Kincardine Bridge is currently CLOSED in both directions due to a police incident.
"Traffic is slow in the area."
Police Scotland confirmed that emergency services are currently in attendance.
A UK Coastguard spokesperson added: "HM Coastguard had a report from Police Scotland of an incident on the River Forth just after 2.40pm today.
"Coastguard rescue teams from South Queensferry, Kinghorn and Leven have been sent.
"The Kinghorn and South Queensferry lifeboats and the search and rescue helicopter from Prestwick have been sent.
"The incident is ongoing and we have no further information at this time."
