Dublin Fire Brigade has urged motorists to be aware of slippery road conditions this winter after they attended the scene of a terrifying 'tree vs car' collision in south Dublin.
One person was rushed to hospital following the incident which took place in Rathfarnham on Saturday night.
Dublin Fire Brigade told Dublin Live: "Firefighters from Rathfarnham fire station were called to a tree vs car collision last night.
"There was one person inside the car at the time of the collision. Thankfully they have non-life threatening injuries."
They added: "People need to keep in mind, especially when driving in rain, that stopping distances will increase."
