Emergency services rush to Glasgow Airport after plane landing

Fire crews scrambled to Glasgow Airport this afternoon following an incident when a plane landed.

It is understood an EasyJet flight arriving at the airport burst a tyre while coming in to land today at around 2pm.

Emergency services rushed to the scene where it is understood the remain to deal with the incident.

Passengers are still believed to be on the flight while staff deal with the issue.

Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said they had send four appliances to the incident at around 2pm.

Glasgow Airport has been contacted for comment.
