Emergency services respond to 'cliff fall' in Howth

Fire crews and an advanced paramedic have been involved in rescue efforts following a cliff fall in Howth.

Dublin Fire Brigade said the multi-agency response included personnel from the Irish Coast Guard, RNLI, National Ambulance Service, Irish Rapid Community Response, Air Ambulance and Garda.

An image shared by the fire brigade showed crews on a beach being illuminated by a helicopter hovering above.

The brigade did not share any information on the condition of the person involved in the fall.

In a tweet sent at 9:57pm on Monday, the DFB wrote:

"Firefighters including an Advanced Paramedic were involved in the rescue of a person following a cliff fall in Howth @IrishCoastGuard crews and helicopter, @RNLI, @AmbulanceNAS, Irish Rapid Community Response @CommunityAirAmb @gardainfo came together for the multi-agency rescue."
