Police are treating a fire at a construction site in Greenway on Friday morning as suspicious.
"About 4am police received reports of a townhouse alight in a recently-developed area on Drakeford Drive in Greenway," they said in a statement.
"ACT Fire and Rescue attended and extinguished the fire. Following an analysis of the scene, police are treating the fire as suspicious and the circumstances surrounding the fire are now being investigated by ACT Policing's Criminal Investigations."
ACT Fire and Rescue attended the fire at a construction site on Ellison Harvie Close and extinguished it by 7am. But they remained at the scene for some time longer to ensure it was safe.
