Emergency services have raced to a smash on the A92 as drivers are being urged to take an alternative route.
The road is closed in both directions at Freuchie following a collision just before 10pm tonight.
It is understood police, the Scottish Ambulance Service and the Scottish Fire Service are all in attendance.
Motorists are being warned to expect delays as a local diversion remains in place.
It is not currently known if anyone has been injured in the crash.
