Emergency services have raced to a 'serious' crash on a stretch of the A96.
The A96 at Keith has been closed both ways due to a serious traffic collision around 8.30pm tonight.
Drivers are being urged to avoid the area and take an alternative route.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Around 7.50pm on Thursday, 15 July, officers were called to the A96 at Keith, following a report of a road crash.
"The road is currently closed and emergency services remain at the scene.”
Traffic Scotland also tweeted warning road users of the accident.
They said: "The # A96 is CLOSED both ways due to a serious RTC just south of Keith.
" Emergency services are on scene.
"Please # UseAltRoute meantime."
