Emergency services race to scene of 'incident' in Grangemouth

Police were called to the scene of an 'incident' in Grangemouth earlier.

A number of officers were spotted in Burnbank Road in the town at around 2pm this afternoon.

The nature of the incident is not known, but paramedics confirmed they treated a man, in his 30s, at the scene.

Pictures on social media showed two vans and a car in attendance with their lights flashing.

An ambulance was also there.

Police Scotland confirmed officers attended, but had no further details to add.

A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We received a call at 1353 hours today to attend an incident on Burnbank Road in Grangemouth.

"We dispatched one ambulance and treated a male patient in his 30s at the scene."
