Emergency services race to scene after person found injured at Glasgow high rise

Emergency services have raced to the scene after a person was found injured at a Glasgow high rise this evening.

Police and ambulance crews scrambled to Linkwood Crescent in Drumchapel after the alarm was raised at around 7.20pm.

It's believed officers remain on the scene of the incident.

A picture sent to Glasgow Live shows almost half a dozen emergency vehicles at the flats.

The extent of the person's injuries is not yet known.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Police were called to reports of someone injured in Linkwood Crescent, Drumchapel at around 7.20pm.

"Officers remain at the scene and incident is ongoing."
