Emergency services race to River Clyde in ongoing incident near SEC Armadillo

Emergency services are at the River Clyde in response to an ongoing incident.

Police cars, fire engines and ambulance crews have been seen near to Bell's Bridge at the Clyde, which links the SEC Armadillo and the Crowne Plaza Hotel.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service have confirmed they are in attendance and say it is a 'police incident'.

An eyewitness told Glasgow Live they spotted around 15 police cars, two fire engines and two ambulances at the scene.

UPDATE: Police Scotland confirmed to Glasgow Live they were in attendance in response to 'concerns for a person'.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "It was just a concern for a person incident. We won't be releasing anything further on that".
