Emergency services have raced to a section of railway line between Larbert and Stirling after trespassers were spotted in the area.
British Transport Police were alerted to the incident shortly after 2:30pm this afternoon.
Services to and from both stations have been cancelled or delayed.
In a tweet, ScotRail said: "We've received reports of trespassers on the railway in the Stirling area.
"We're currently working closely with the emergency services to get the trespassers off the track safely.
"Services may be altered or delayed as a result."
