Emergency services race to ongoing incident on Queen Street near George Square

Emergency services are in attendance at an ongoing incident on Queen Street.

Multiple ambulance crews remain on the scene at Royal Exchange Square, near George Square where Rangers fans are gathered.

Ambulances have blocked off the street.

A photograph of the scene shows two ambulances and numerous police vans parked on the road.

One police officer can be seen standing in between the two emergency vehicles.

The picture was shared on social media as numerous fans take to the streets of Glasgow.

Bags of rubbish were also strewn across the road.

The nature of the incident is currently not yet known.

Police Scotland said they would be unable to comment at this time.

The Scottish Ambulance Service have been contacted for comment.
