Emergency services race to ‘ongoing incident’ as forensics and ambulance called to Scots street

Emergency services are currently dealing with an ‘ongoing incident’ in a residential Scots street.

At least four marked police vans have been spotted on Dundonald Park in Cardenen, near Lochgelly, Fife.

Officers are on the scene in Dundonald Park, Lochgelly (Fife Jammer Locations)

It is understood that they arrived on the scene at around 10am on Friday, February 19.

A National Risk Ambulance is also thought to be in attendance alongside specialist forensics officers.

Police Scotland confirmed they are in attendance in relation to a 'pre-planned operation'.

A force spokesperson said: "We can confirm that officers are currently carrying out a pre-planned operation at an address in Dundonald Park, Cardenden.

“Enquiries are ongoing at this time.”
