Police and ambulance crews raced to the scene of an 'on-going incident' on a North Lanakrshire road, which was locked down.
Photos shared with the Daily Record show officers and paramedics on Muirhouse Road in Motherwell this afternoon, Friday July 9.
Several cops were spotted patrolling the area, with tape blocking off the road as officers gathered evidence.
One witness told the Record that the road, which runs through a residential area of the town, had been completely shut down.
The exact circumstances, and information on anyone being injured, has not been disclosed at this time.
