Emergency services have responded to reports of concerns for a person on Moncreiffe Island in Perth.
Two Scottish Fire and Rescue Service fire units were dispatched from Perth and Dundee’s Kingsway stations this afternoon and are in attendance.
Tayside Police and ambulance paramedics are also at the scene, along with two specialist fire service boat teams.
A spokesperson for the fire service said: “We received the alert just before 3pm on Wednesday, August 11 to reports of concern for a person on Moncreiffe Island in Perth.
“Two fire appliances have been dispatched from Perth and Dundee to assist partner emergency organisations at the scene.
“A specialist boat rescue team is also at the scene with a second also en route to the scene.”
A spokesperson for Police Scotland confirmed officers were in attendance following what they referred to as “concern for an individual”.
