Emergency services race to Lancefield Quay amid 'ongoing incident' two days after horror fire

Police are in attendance at an 'ongoing incident' alongside the River Clyde.

Police and fire crews raced to , close to where it meets Finnieston Street on Wednesday night.

A spokesperson from Police Scotland told the Record: "We are in attendance at an ongoing incident.

"Police officers remain at the scene."

A fire engulfed a block of flats on Monday night.

While there were no casualties, residents affected by the blaze do not know when they will be able to return to their homes.

Lancefield Quay, between Hydepark Street and Elliot Street, remains closed as a result of the fire.
