Emergency services race to 'incident' at Scots hotel as woman is rushed to hospital

Emergency services have raced to the scene of an incident at a hotel in Falkirk.

The alarm was raised this afternoon and a woman has been taken to the nearby Forth Valley Royal Hospital to be treated for her injuries.

Cops and paramedics received a call to attend the Premier Inn at Glenbervie Business Park in Larbert.

The nature of the incident is not known, but an investigation has started.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We were made aware of concern for a person in the Glenbervie Business Park area in Larbert.

"Emergency service attended and a woman has been taken to Forth Valley Royal Hospital for treatment.

"Enquiries to establish the full circumstances are ongoing."
