Emergency services race to horror two-vehicle crash in Dunfermline

Emergency services have raced to a two-car crash in Dunfermline on the A985.

Police Scotland, the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and the Scottish Ambulance service are currently in attendance at the crash.

The incident, near Broomhill House, happened just before 8am this morning.

The extent of any injuries suffered in the incident is not known at this time.

A photo posted by Fife Jammers shows the road blocked off by emergency services, with a number of vehicles at the scene.

A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "We are currently in attendance at a road traffic collision next to Broomhill House on the A985.

"We have two appliances in attendance after we were called out by police at 7.53am this morning to a two vehicle collision.

"We are still on the scene."

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 7.40am on Wednesday, 3 March, we received a report of a two vehicle crash on the A985 in Dunfermline.

“Emergency services attended and the A985 was closed for a short time and fully reopened around 9.30am.”
