One person has been rushed to hospital after a crash in Springburn this afternoon.

Emergency services raced to the Keppochhill Road area of Glasgow just after 2pm after reports of a crash involving a car and a parked vehicle.

The driver of the car has been taken to hospital for treatment.

Keppochhill Road is currently closed between the A803 Springburn Road and Carlisle Street.

Motorists are being urged to avoid the area to allow for vehicle recovery.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “At 2.15pm on Thursday, February 25, officers were called to the Keppochhill Road area of Glasgow, following a report of a road crash involving a car and a parked vehicle.

"The driver of the car has been taken to hospital for assessment and treatment, while the road is currently closed to allow for vehicle recovery.”
