Shocking pictures showed the extent of the damage at the site on Friday night.

Three buses have been left as burnt out shells while a truck and one other vehicle appear to be extensively damaged.

A spokesperson for Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: "We were alerted at 8.35pm on Friday, February 26, to reports of multiple cars on fire at Halbeath Industrial Estate.

"Two appliances were sent to the scene and fire fighters extinguished the blaze before ensuring the area was safe.

"There were no injuries."
