Emergency services have raced to the scene of a crash on the M8 this morning.
Police and fire services are currently in attendance following a collision on the western carriageway of the road at J9 Easterhouse.
The incident occurred at around 7am this morning on the hard shoulder.
Scottish Fire and Rescue Service has closed lane one of the motorway while they deal with the collision and a large amount of debris scattered on the road.
Traffic Scotland is advising drivers to expect delays and approach with caution if travelling on the road.
