Emergency services have raced to a crash involving a motorcyclist in Aberdeen.
Westburn Road is currently closed following the incident just after 5pm today.
Road users are being urged to take an alternative route to allow police and ambulance crews to deal with the accident.
The extent of the motorcyclists injuries are not yet known.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said : "Officers are currently in attendance at road traffic incident involving a motorcyclist on Westburn Road in Aberdeen.
"Ambulance have been contacted.
"The road is currently closed and motorists are asked to avoid the area."
