Emergency services race to Carronshore after 'person struck by vehicle'

Emergency services have raced a busy road in Falkirk amid reports of a 'person struck by a vehicle'.

Police and ambulance were scrambled to Main Street, Carronshore, this afternoon in response to an ongoing incident.

It is understood a member of the public was struck by a vehicle.

The road was already closed for road works as Falkirk Council and Class One Traffic Management had been working to resurface it.

An ambulance left the scene under a police escort.

Cops have taped the area off and an investigation has started.
