Emergency services on scene of serious road traffic accident in Ayrshire

A Darlymple road was closed this morning after a serious road accident.

One vehicle was involved and emergency services remain at the scene.

A Police spokesman said: "Police were called at 7.30am to a report of a one vehicle road traffic accident.

"The accident was on the B742 near Darlrymple.

"Emergency services are still on the scene."
