Emergency services including coast guard and fire brigade called after person gets into difficulty at Killiney cliff

Emergency services were called out to Killiney today to help a person who needed treatment.

The call was made for Hawks Cliff and an ambulance was called to the scene.

Dun Laoghaire Coast Guard were also asked to assist with the call, along with a crew from Dublin Fire Brigade based in nearby Dun Laoghaire.

Thankfully, the injuries to the person did not seem too serious as they were able to make their way to the ambulance.

They said: "Dun Laoghaire Coast Guard teams were requested to assist HSE ambulance with a casualty needing treatment. A crew from Dublin Fire Brigade based in Dun Laoghaire also arrived to assist.

"On arrival patient was assessed and deemed that casualty could safely make there way up to ambulance for treatment."
