Emergency services have spent several hours at the scene of an incident in Belfast city centre after a man collapsed in an alleyway.
An ambulance and police were called when two men appeared to have difficulties in Castle Arcade off between High Street and Castle Lane.
One of individuals was suffering severe chest pains and falling in and out of consciousness.
The Northern Ireland Ambulance crew treated him at the scene and advised that he needed hospital care.
But the man refused to go to hospital or be transported by ambulance.
A specialist cardiac paramedic attended the scene this afternoon and the incident was declared closed shortly before 5.30pm.

One witness said: "It was obvious the man was in pain and struggling but despite a lot of care from the ambulance crew he didn't want to go with them.
"There are a number of people who use the arcade for shelter and meeting acquaintances.
"I hope he gets the help he needs and find a warm place to stay tonight and recover from whatever has happened."
A NIAS s pokesperson said: "NIAS were called after a person was seen to be clutching his chest and falling in and out of consciousness. The patient refused to travel to hospital and no ambulance was required."
