Emergency services have raced to a "large fire" at a Scots industrial estate this morning.
Six fire engines are currently on the scene battling the well developed blaze.
It is understood the large fire is within the Tradebe building at Righead Industrial Estate in Bellshill.
It is not currently known is anyone has been injured in the fire.
A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: "We are currently in attendance at a large fire within an industrial building on Mossbell Road, Bellshill.
"We have six appliances in attendance."
Clouds of black smoke can be seen in the sky from miles away from the building.
Photographs taken this morning show some houses nearby being engulfed in smoke as the fire crews battle the inferno.
