Emergency services discover man's body inside Amble home after calls for concern

Emergency service workers discovered a man's body inside a Northumberland address.

Police received a report expressing concern for the welfare of a man at an address in Dansfield Square, Amble at 4.15pm on Friday, February 19.

However, when emergency services attended the scene where they found a man's body inside a property.

Police are not treating the death as suspicious at this time and the man's next of kin have been informed.

A Northumbria Police spokesperson said: “At about 4.15pm on Friday (February 19) we received a report of concern for the welfare of a man inside a property on Dansfield Square in Amble.

"Emergency services attended the scene and the body of a man was sadly found inside the property.

"The death is not being treated as suspicious at this time and his next of kin have been informed.

"A report has been prepared for the coroner and our thoughts are with the man’s family at this difficult time.”
