An Edinburgh 'emergency services day' will give people the chance to meet police dogs and horses, and look around old 999 vehicles next month.
Crowds of people are expected to flock to Princes Street Gardens for the free event which takes place on Sunday, 8 September from 9am to 4pm.
Teams from Police Scotland, Scottish Fire and Rescue, Scottish Ambulance Service, Coastguard, mountain rescue, lifeboats and Citizenaid will all be in attendance.
And those who go along will be able to enjoy some great food, a look around old and current '999 vehicles', meet emergency services dogs and horses and learn more about volunteering roles.
People will also be able to enjoy free demonstrations and learn crucial life-saving skills.
