Police taped off a street in Harehills this morning after reports that a woman was on the roof of a house.
The call came in at 4.53am in the early hours, with the emergency services attending on Compton Crescent, just off Compton Road.
Compton Crescent was taped off by police as they attempted to resolve the situation.
West Yorkshire Police confirmed that the woman was brought to safety shortly before 6am.
The roads were reopened a short time after that and the scene was cleared.
