Emergency services called to 'medical incident' at Woodborough Road

An ambulance is on scene at 'medical incident' in Nottingham city centre.

Nottinghamshire Police have confirmed officers were called to Woodborough Road at the junction with Huntingdon Street at 1.42pm on Monday, July 27.

Reports have said there has been a crash at the junction but police have described it as a 'medical incident'.

Due to a car blocking the road, there is traffic building in the area.

A spokesman said: "Police were called to a medical incident. Ambulance is on scene.

"There is a car blocking the junction at Woodborough Road."

Traffic site Inrix reports: "A60 Huntingdon Street in both directions partially blocked, slow traffic due to accident at B684 Woodborough Road.

"Affecting traffic between The Lobster Pot and Aldi."

Nottingham Travelwise tweeted: "Road traffic collision. Woodborough Road junction with Huntingdon Street.

"Right turn lane into Huntingdon street is blocked. RTC passable with care. Emergency services on scene."
