Emergency services called to crash outside Asda in Hyson Green

The emergency services have attended a crash outside the Asda supermarket in Hyson Green.

A video from the scene shows police cars, fire engines and ambulances blocking Radford Road while attending the incident, after they were called at around 3.55pm on Friday, August 7.

A spokesman for Nottinghamshire Police said: "It is a road traffic collision. A vehicle has hit a lamp post opposite Asda.

"The airbags have gone off and fuel has gone over the road. There are no injuries."

The force says the road was closed while recovery of the vehicle is arranged.

Pictures also show heavy traffic building in the area around the typically busy Radford Road junction following the crash.
