Emergency services called to crash in Swansea

Emergency services are at the scene of a crash in Swansea.

Police and ambulance crews were called to reports of a crash involving a motorbike on St Helen's Crescent at around 7.20pm.

An air ambulance has also landed in a field next to St Helen's rugby ground.

The incident is still ongoing, a spokesperson for Welsh Ambulance Service said at around 10.30pm. Shortly after midnight, a spokesperson confirmed that a casualty had been taken to hospital.

The person's injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

One eyewitness described seeing a "convoy of police and ambulance" transport medics up the road at around 10pm.

There are currently three police cars, one ambulance and an air ambulance team at the scene, they added.
