Emergency services called to crash between two cars in Dumfries and Galloway

Emergency services were called to a crash between two vehicles on the A75 in Dumfries and Galloway.

The collision took place near Castle Douglas at the Kirkcudbright junction at around 2pm on Sunday.

Traffic Scotland reported the road was clear at 3.24pm following the smash.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “Around 2.05pm on Sunday we received a report of a two vehicle crash on the A75 near Castle Douglas.

“Emergency services are in attendance.”
