Emergency services called to busy Carlton junction after crash

Emergency services were called to a crash at a busy Nottinghamshire junction on Saturday (November 26). Police closed part of Carlton Square while dealing with the incident which involved two vehicles.

Nottinghamshire Police received the call shortly after 10am on Saturday, November 26. An ambulance also attended the scene.

Two police units attended the scene of the crash at around 10.20am. Officers closed the road while the two vehicles involved, a Fiat and a Ford, were being recovered.

A photo submitted by an eye-witness depicts the scene of the crash. Police were seen at the junction on Carlton Square.

No injuries were reported, Nottinghamshire Police confirmed. The force said that no further investigations were required.

The scene has been cleared just before midday. The road re-opened shortly after.
