Emergency services called after large blaze close to Croxteth Hall

Footage shows a large blaze on private land just off Croxteth Country Park this afternoon.

A number of large outbuildings were destroyed when the fire took hold in West Derby, shortly after 1pm today.

No people or animals were hurt in the incident, and the property was not linked to the park or to Croxteth Hall.

A spokeswoman for Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service said: "Four pumps were called out at 13.23pm today. There was a large single storey shed or barn ablaze.
