Emergency services called after 2-vehicle crash in Beeston blocked busy road

Emergency services were called to the scene of a crash in Beeston this morning.

The incident is reported to have happened in Queen's Road at the junction with Station Street.

Nottingham City Council traffic teams said emergency services were on the scene and reported the crash at 7.22am on Tuesday, January 12.

Queen's Road southbound and Station Street eastbound were blocked but have since been reopened by emergency services.

The crash involved two vehicles.

A tweet from Nottingham City Council's Travelwise account said: "Both vehicles from RTC on Queen's Road A6005 - Station St in Beeston recovered.

"Emergency services have reopened Queen's Road southbound and Station Street eastbound. Thank you for your patience"
