Emergency services attend scene of multiple vehicle crash on the quays

Emergency crews attended the scene of a crash involving multiple vehicles on the quays.

Staff from Tara Street and Donnybrook fire stations responded after three cars and a bus collided on Burgh Quay on St Stephen's Day.

Traffic delays were reported after the road was closed and local diversions were put in place.

Two fire trucks and one ambulance were at the scene of the crash.

A spokesperson for the Dublin Fire Brigade said: “Tonight crews from Tara St & Donnybrook stations responded to a 3 car/1 bus collision on Burgh Quay. The road was closed leading to local diversions. It has now reopened. 2 fire trucks & 1 ambulance were on scene.”
