The emergency services attended a road traffic collision in Kilmarnock earlier this evening.
Police Scotland and the Scottish Ambulance Service rushed to the Bellfield Interchange - just off the A77 - shortly after 8pm this evening.
An eye-witness at the scene told the Kilmarnock Standard that two cars were involved in the crash and that two major support team ambulances, thought to be from Glasgow, arrived shortly after the collision took place.
